Early 20th Century Solid Oak Chest of Drawers

This piece dates back to somewhere between 1900-1920. Made of solid oak, in a colonial style finish. There are four dovetail drawers and key holes in each drawer, which was an indicator as to how old this is- as well as the craftsmanship of the structure. I spent a lot of time cleaning this piece both inside and out. I then sanded a bit, and stained in a golden oak. I applied furniture wax to bring back some of the shine back. This was then sealed with poly, for another 100+ years of use. There are little dents, scratches, and marks throughout the piece; however, I chose to leave them to keep the character and to hold the history this piece carries with it. This chest of drawers was clearly very loved and cared for, and I hope for it to be cherished in someone else's home for years to come.
